Another Old World fossorial species, the Pterinochilus lugardi (Dodoma Baboon) is defensive and tends to spend most of its time in its burrows waiting for prey. This tarantula has a beautiful gold and olive color on its carapace and legs. The abdomen is a light brown with tinges of yellow.
