Pyrophorini sp. (Bioluminescent Click Beetle) Larvae

First-time offered at the Shoppe, these US native bioluminescent click beetle larvae take several months - to a year or more - to grow. Keep them on humid coco fiber or pet moss. They may grow up to 2 inches, so a 16 or 32 oz deli could work. Offer bits of cat or dog food, or pre-killed crickets as they require a protein diet as larvae. Temperatures of 70-75 are adequate.
