Xenesthis - even the genus name sounds hyper-futuristic-alien, doesn't it? These spiders are very unique, with dark velvety legs, pinkish coloration on its carapace, and blond tipped setae on the abdomen. These spiders also grow to a massive 8" or more. For many keepers, it is a must have - the pride and joy of one's collection. See photos of juvenile and adult specimens.
