Spiderlings and juveniles are best maintained with deep, barely moist substrate and cross ventilation. Mature specimens should be provided with a deep substrate and a secured cork slab overlying a depression or cave for opportunistic burrow construction. Allow the substrate to dry out almost completely between periodic light mistings.
