Here's another species we produced! Just have a look at these, the pictures speak for themselves! This is a large growing terrestrial species from the coast of Ecuador. Pronunciation of binomial names seems to be a struggle for many. In learning from other keepers, I understand 'ch' to read like 'k' (brachypelma). So, I'd been pronouncing it 'Muh - Kal - Uh'. A local friend had to correct me - 'Machala' is a locality in Ecuador rather, and is pronounced 'Muh-CH-ala'.
