This Uruguayan Grammastola has long been debated as synonymous with the ever-popular Grammastola pulchra. It is very much alike, indistinguishable by eye. The only means of differentiating it from pulchra is by DNA sequence and examining the spinal sequence on male tibial hooks.
The Brazilian counterpart, pulchra, is very popular for its docile nature. Expect the same with this spider.
