Diet: Not a picky eater, offer fruits/vegetables and other organic materials. Keep proteins to 10% of food or less. Calcium is essential.
Housing: Terrestrial with 80% humidity, offer mixes of sand, gravel, and coco coir 6-10” deep. Keep water dish available.
Temperament: Mostly territorial, excavators, tend to be shy and remain protected by cover.
Heat: Heat pads can be offered to provide a temperature gradient
Lighting: Nocturnal, no lighting or uvb necessary. Use a red light for evening viewing.
